Curriculum and Opt-Out Forms
Evidence-based sexual health education is taught to Tulsa students in many public, charter, alternative, and private schools across the Tulsa area.
Depending on the grade level, instruction may include topics such as consent, puberty and body changes, contraceptives, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), pregnancy prevention, healthy relationships, human trafficking, media literacy, and more.
Parent Preview Night
Parents and caregivers have the right to learn about the sexual health education taught to their children. Each middle and high school offers a Parent Preview Night, where certified adolescent health specialists provide an overview of the curriculum and answer questions.
We encourage you to attend and learn more about sexual health education at your student's school. If you're unable to attend, curriculum overviews are available below. Parents and caregivers may also request a full curriculum overview from their school's site coordinator or by emailing info@amplifytulsa.org.
