Education

Education is an essential part of our work to advance youth sexual health and well being.

We offer trainings, workshops, and presentations about youth sexual health for the community. We also work behind the scenes with schools and organizations to support sex education implementation through curriculum training, technical assistance, and professional development for educators.

Curriculum and Best Practice Trainings

We offer sexual health and positive youth development trainings for professionals across Tulsa and Oklahoma. Our trainings support educators, school staff, and community professionals in building confidence and skills to support young people’s sexual health and well-being. Participants can also complete certification to teach sex education in schools and community organizations. All trainings are grounded in evidence-based, trauma-responsive, and inclusive practices.

Sex Education Expansion

We work with schools and communities to address barriers to sex education and expand access to sexual health programs across Tulsa. A key focus is advancing equitable access for Spanish-speaking students and students with disabilities, including bilingual sex education and adapted curricula for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring more young people can take part in sex education in their schools and communities.
