Latine and Hispanic Initiatives

Amplify's Latine and Hispanic Initiatives bring culturally responsive sex education and resources to Latine and Hispanic communities in Tulsa.

Built with the community, the program includes bilingual sex education, partnerships with community organizations, and expanded access to information in Spanish.

Our Latine & Hispanic Initiatives include:

  • Ongoing collaboration with Latine and Hispanic communities across the city
  • Partnerships with community organizations to deliver sexual health education in Spanish
  • Opportunities for Latine youth and families to learn together, talk openly, and build shared understanding
  • Culturally relevant events like Antojitos con Amplify
  • Communications, like social media, emails, and print materials, are available in Spanish

Our initiatives focus on expanding opportunities for learning across generations, strengthening connection between youth and families, and ensuring sexual health education is accessible, welcoming, and reflective of.

Rombidos les Teboius

Rompiendo Los Tabúes (RLT) is a 5-week culturally responsive sexual health program created in partnership by Amplify Youth Health Collective, Take Control Initiative, and El Centro.

Our 5-week program teaches you and your teen about essential sexual health topics that will help you make informed decisions about your health. Sessions are held in Spanish for adults and in both English & Spanish for teens. RLT creates opportunities for Latine youth and families to learn together, talk openly, and build shared understanding.

Nuestro programa de 5 semanas les enseña a usted y a su adolescente sobre temas esenciales de la salud sexual que los ayudarán a tomar decisiones informadas sobre su salud.
