Amplify Youth Health Collective is a Tulsa-based nonprofit advancing youth sexual health and well being through education, collaboration, and advocacy.

Through both collective impact and direct-service programming, we work with communities across Tulsa to expand access to sex education and sexual health information.

All young people are powerful, intelligent, and capable.

We do not prevent unplanned teen pregnancy - young people do.

We believe in the dignity, self-worth, and right to self-determination for all young people.

Collaboration

Our entire community is responsible for urgently addressing health and education inequities for young people to improve the balance of power and privilege.

Social change is achieved most effectively through collaboration with diverse stakeholders and community engagement.

Education

Shame is not an effective intervention to promote sexual health.

Sexual health and well-being involve far more than just unplanned pregnancy and STI prevention.

Sexuality is a natural and healthy part of being human.

Sexuality includes physical, ethical, social, spiritual, psychological, and emotional dimensions.

Sexual relationships must be consensual and free of coercion and exploitation.

Advocacy

Information is power. Young people have a fundamental right to evidence-based sexual health information.

Young people have bodily autonomy and deserve accessible health care to meet their unique needs.

Adults

Parents and caregivers are the first and primary sexual health educators for young people.

Individuals, families, and society benefit when parents and trusted adults are equipped to engage in conversations about sexual health with young people.
