Brittany Banh is the Youth Leadership Council Coordinator at Amplify, where she coordinates the Youth Leadership Council (YLC), a paid leadership program for teens ages 14-19 interested in learning about sexual health and growing as youth leaders in Tulsa. Brittany was born in California and raised in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Women’s and Gender Studies from the University of Tulsa. During her time at TU, Brittany advanced peer-to-peer educational programming focused on sexual violence prevention and bystander intervention, and conducted research on maternal health and mother-infant bonding. She previously worked in the nonprofit sector as an intern with Domestic Violence Intervention Services and as a fellow at the Oklahoma Center for Community and Justice. Brittany is dedicated to advocating for the expansion of holistic sexual health education as a means of preventing negative health outcomes and sexual violence. Outside of work, Brittany enjoys concerts, cooking, and working out.
