Alicia Williams is the Strong Tomorrows Program Manager at Amplify, where she leads the Strong Tomorrows program and team, which provided support to expecting and parenting students in Tulsa schools. Alicia was born in Anchorage, Alaska and moved to Tulsa at age six, where she proudly grew up in the Tulsa Public Schools community and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. She earned a Bachelor of Social Work from Northeastern State University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Oklahoma. Before her current role, Alicia worked with the Juvenile Bureau and DaySpring, and also served in roles with the University of Oklahoma, including Clinics in Schools and as a social worker at the Wayman Tisdale Clinic. Across these roles, she has worked in youth, health, and community service settings where she has served as a role model, advocate, and trusted adult for young people. She is committed to teaching, encouraging, and motivating the next generation to achieve their goals. She is a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters, reading, doing arts and crafts, and listening to music.
