Alexandra Ledezma is the Program Manager at Amplify, where she leads the Youth Leadership Council and Latine and Hispanic Initiatives teams that implement youth leadership and culturally responsive programming. Alex was born and raised in Las Vegas and earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas before calling Tulsa home in 2017. She is a proud Teach For America alum and spent five years teaching at Felicitas Mendez International School, a bilingual program rooted in equity and honoring students’ home languages while supporting language development and connection to family and culture. Before her current role, Alex served as the Latine and Hispanic Initiatives Coordinator, where she expanded access to sexual health resources, programming, and education for Spanish speaking families in Tulsa. She is passionate about bilingual education, youth leadership, and uplifting the Latine community. Outside of work, Alex enjoys attending community events, exploring Tulsa restaurants, and teaching dance fitness classes.
